Your privacy rights when using Role Match.

Last updated: July 26, 2026

Scope

If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or a region with similar laws, you have rights regarding personal data processed by Role Match.

Public job listing text we share from employers is generally not your personal data. This notice focuses on data that identifies you as a Role Match visitor or account holder.

Legal bases

  • Contract — to provide listing discovery, accounts, saved listings, and AI chat you request.
  • Legitimate interests — to secure the service, prevent abuse, improve search quality, and operate a public listing index.
  • Consent — where required for optional cookies or communications.
  • Legal obligation — when we must retain or disclose information under law.

Your rights

  • Access — request a copy of personal data we hold about you.
  • Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate account information.
  • Erasure — request deletion of your account and associated personal data, subject to legal retention needs.
  • Restriction / objection — object to certain processing where applicable.
  • Portability — receive account data in a common machine-readable format where technically feasible.

International transfers

Role Match may process data in the United States or other countries where our hosting and AI providers operate. We use reputable providers and appropriate safeguards consistent with how modern SaaS products operate.
