Who we are

Role Match (https://rolematch.online) is a job discovery platform. We collect and share publicly available job listings from employer career sites and applicant tracking systems (ATS) so you can browse roles, research companies, and search in plain language with our AI assistant.

Role Match does not host employer hiring systems, run application workflows, or act as the employer of record. When you apply, you leave Role Match and continue on the employer’s own careers page or ATS.

This policy explains what we collect when you visit https://rolematch.online, create an account, save listings, or use AI search.

Information we collect

• Account details — email address, name, and authentication data when you sign in (via better-auth session cookies).
• Search activity — queries you send to AI chat, filters you use, and listings you view or save on Role Match.
• Guest session data — temporary chat history tied to a guest identifier if you use the product without signing in.
• Technical data — IP address, browser type, device information, and basic usage logs needed to run and secure the service.
• Shared listing data — job and company information imported from public employer sources for display on Role Match. That content is employer public data, not your personal data.

How we use your information

• Show and organize shared job listings, company pages, salary and career landings, and AI chat responses.
• Remember saved listings and chat history on your account.
• Authenticate sessions, prevent abuse, and keep the service reliable.
• Improve search relevance, matching quality, and product experience.
• Comply with legal obligations when required.

AI processing

When you use AI search or chat on Role Match, your prompts and relevant listing context may be sent to our AI providers to generate responses. Do not include sensitive personal data (government IDs, financial account numbers, health details) in chat prompts.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share limited data with infrastructure providers that host our database, authentication, and AI services, solely to operate Role Match.

We do not submit applications on your behalf. Clicking “Apply” typically sends you to the employer’s site or ATS, which has its own privacy policy. Employers control how they process your application materials.

Retention

Account and saved-listing data are kept while your account is active. Guest chat data may be deleted or expire automatically. You can ask us to delete your account data using the contact email below.

Your choices

• Update or delete account information by contacting us.
• Sign out to end your session cookies.
• Stop using guest chat or clear site data in your browser to remove local session identifiers.
