What you'll do
Understand the problem current LPM model is trying to solve along with its details
Extend current reinforcement learning infrastructure and conduct experiments: on our RL system. Tune parameters and compare with existing results
Identify promising new RL technologies and apply on Waymo problems
Currently pursuing a Master's or PhD in software engineering, machine learning, or a related technical field
Fundamental understanding of machine learning and reinforcement learning
+ years of project experience involves coding and realized achievements (you are proud of the results)
What they're looking for
- + years of experience on ML or RL with hands-on projects
- + years of experience on optimizing system infrastructure ( simulation, ML/RL, or other backend systems)
- Experience in working with autonomous driving or relevant technologies
- Help solve challenging problems with a direct impact on the company
