What you'll do
Collaborate with the team to analyze experiment results, document findings,: and help integrate the most successful strategies into production
Prototype scheduling algorithms aimed at smoothing out computational load
Run benchmarks to analyze the speed, throughput and resource efficiency of: related systems, and specific implementations
Currently pursuing a graduate degree (Master's or PhD) in Computer Science,: Software Engineering, or a related technical field
Solid foundation in computer science fundamentals, particularly in data structures & algorithms
Strong software development skills with proficiency in at least one: general-purpose programming language (e.g., C++, Java, Python) and SQL. Desire to learn and work extensively in C++
What they're looking for
- Familiarity with or strong interest in foundational concepts related to: distributed systems, data processing pipelines, or operating systems
- Familiarity with statistical concepts necessary for interpreting large datasets
- Strong general coding skills and the ability to write robust software. C++ proficiency is a strong plus
- Experience or coursework related to distributed systems, operating systems: (specifically task scheduling), or data processing pipelines.
