What you'll do
Own daily operational accounting for CBFSE, including recording journal: entries, preparing supporting schedules, and maintaining balance sheet reconciliations.
Execute daily reconciliation reporting and other periodic regulatory: submissions required by CySEC, the Central Bank of Cyprus, and applicable CIF frameworks.
Partner cross-functionally with FP&A, Tax, Treasury, Source-to-Pay, and: engineering teams to ensure proper accounting treatment and accurate financial reporting.
Support internal and external audit processes by providing documentation,: analysis, and timely responses within your areas of responsibility.
Drive data analysis against business drivers to identify trends, resolve: discrepancies, and recommend process improvements to strengthen accounting operations.
+ years of experience in accounting or finance within a Cyprus Investment: Firm (CIF), Big Four firm, or financial services/fintech company.
What they're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field, with professional: qualifications (ACCA, ACA, or CPA) preferred; CySEC certifications (Advanced and/or AML Certificate) a plus.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of IFRS, with hands-on experience applying: IFRS standards to operational accounting and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in NetSuite, FloQast, and G-Suite, with advanced Excel skills: applied to reconciliations and financial analysis is a plus.
- Familiarity with CySEC and CIF regulatory reporting requirements, including: the ability to interpret and apply regulatory guidance to accounting processes.
