What you'll do
Perform safe, controlled disassembly of EV and energy storage battery packs: down to module and component level, following detailed work instructions and safety standards
Execute high-voltage isolation, verification, and handling procedures,: including strict adherence to lockout/tagout (LOTO) and PPE requirements
Sort, classify, and route battery components for reuse, recycling, or: disposal in compliance with environmental and production guidelines
Operate within a high-throughput production environment, meeting performance: targets while maintaining efficiency, accuracy, and workflow continuity
Utilize hand tools, power tools, and electrical diagnostic equipment to: support disassembly, inspection, and basic troubleshooting tasks
Safely handle, transport, and lift large-format battery systems using: forklifts, cranes, hoists, and rigging equipment in accordance with safety protocols
What they're looking for
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support continuous improvement, maintain a: safe and organized workspace, and ensure compliance with quality and EHS standards
- Operate a variety of material handling equipment and mechanical lifts (training provided).
- Must meet all requirements for use of a full-face respirator, including: medical clearance and fit testing, in accordance with OSHA and company standards.
- Demonstrates working knowledge of mechanical fastening systems, electrical: connections, and component-level disassembly techniques.
