What you'll do
Develop and issue drawings, design documentation, and reports for civil projects
Perform calculations supporting the civil infrastructure design of cut/fill,: grading and drainage, stormwater control facilities, water quality and distribution
Oversee the civil aspects of construction in the field, including resolving: design and construction conflicts in the field in real time, quality control, testing, and commissioning of systems
Collaborate on civil design projects with architectural design teams,: construction teams, utility operational teams, facilities maintenance groups, and other project stakeholders
Maintain positive relationships with internal utility stakeholders,: authorities having jurisdiction (AHJs), contractors and subcontractors
Manage project controls, prepare cost estimates and project schedules;: actively drives projects to meet target budgets and timelines
What they're looking for
- Resolve design and construction conflicts in the field in real time,: prioritizing pragmatic, fast-moving solutions
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or engineering discipline
- + years of experience in civil technical design
- Experience with residential or commercial site development or infrastructure: projects (utilities, land platting and subdivision, roadways, amenities)
