What you'll do
Provide strategic, business-oriented legal advice across Orb’s various: commercial functions, advising stakeholders across the business on legal, regulatory, and commercial risks and requirements.
Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of complex, multi-jurisdictional: commercial agreements with Orb’s customers, vendors, and partners.
Advise the business on new products and services, helping to structure and: mitigate risk as offerings move from concept to launch.
Create and maintain contract templates, playbooks, and other negotiation: resources. Proactively problem solve for emerging legal and operational risks, providing risk-based decisions on complex legal issues and proposing improvements and efficiencies to mitigate future exposure.
Advise on early-stage customer disputes, managing initial phases of legal: conflicts, and providing counsel on complex legal interpretations.
Drive legal automation efforts to help scale our work and bring greater efficiency to the negotiation process.
What they're looking for
- Work autonomously in a cross-functional manner.
- Build strong relationships with colleagues, leaders, and stakeholders.
- You have 6+ years of legal experience, in house or at a law firm.
- You have strong commercial contracting and/or other transactional experience: with a solid understanding of contract law principles.
