The opportunity
WorkOS builds modern developer tools and APIs that make it easy for companies to become Enterprise Ready. Our platform powers authentication, identity, authorization, and other critical infrastructure that developers need to securely scale their products to large organizations.
What you'll do
Build production-quality components and interactions across WorkOS products
Prototype concepts, build new products, and experiment with new interaction patterns
Raise the quality of WorkDS, our design system, by improving performance,: state, accessibility, and interaction behaviour
Work alongside product teams to test your ideas with customers directly and make sure what ships is right
Work in the open, sharing work in progress early, pulling others in to get to the right answer faster
Improve how the company builds, through design system contributions and agent instructions
What they're looking for
- You have an eye for design details, care deeply about craft, and have a history of shipping polished products
- You can articulate why you made a design decision, not just what you made.: You think through alternatives, weigh tradeoffs, and consider how your choices affect the entire product.
- You account for real-world complexity: edge cases, error and empty states, accessibility, and technical constraints — without letting process slow you down. You ship, learn, and iterate.
- You’re equally comfortable in code as you are in Figma/Paper and work across: tools to refine your explorations, while also being excited to explore new tools and workflows and share what you learn with the team.
