• Lead cross-functional execution: Partner with DevRel (for technical content and speakers), Product (for speakers, launches and demos), Sales (for executive dinners and field events), and Comms (for press and analyst moments) to ensure events are fully integrated into broader GTM motions.
• Manage vendors and agencies: Oversee relationships with event production agencies, venue partners, AV vendors, and creative contractors. Hold external partners to the same quality bar you set internally.
• Build and lead a team: Manage and grow a lean team of event professionals. Set the culture, operating cadence, and quality standards for the events function.
• Innovate the format: The best developer events in 2026 don't look like the best developer events in 2019. Bring fresh thinking on formats: hackathons, build-alongs, AI agent showcases, intimate roundtables, hybrid/digital experiences, and activations that meet developers in non-traditional settings.
