Thanks for your interest in Oklo! We are searching for a EHS Specialist to join our team.
What you'll do
Develop, maintain, and implement EHS policies, programs, and procedures that: comply with OSHA, EPA, state, and local regulations
Conduct workplace hazard assessments, job hazard analyses, and safety: inspections, and drive corrective actions to closure
Lead incident reporting and investigation, including root cause analysis and lessons learned
Manage environmental compliance activities, including permitting, waste management, and reporting
Develop and deliver EHS training for employees, contractors, and visitors
Support industrial hygiene, chemical safety, and hazardous materials management programs
What they're looking for
- Partner with engineering, operations, construction, and licensing teams to: embed safety into design, procedures, and daily work
- Track EHS metrics and report on performance and trends to leadership
- Support emergency preparedness and response planning
- Stay current on regulatory developments and industry best practices in nuclear, energy, and industrial safety
