The opportunity

SpaceX was founded under the belief that a future where humanity is out exploring the stars is fundamentally more exciting than one where we are not. Today SpaceX is actively developing the technologies to make this possible, with the ultimate goal of enabling human life on Mars.

What you'll do

  • Assist in installing, inspecting, maintaining, and repairing substation: equipment, including breakers, transformers, switches, relays, buswork, control systems, and batteries.

  • Perform basic routine maintenance on high: and medium-voltage electrical systems, such as cleaning, lubrication, and visual inspections (e.g., checking oil levels, lights, heaters, and connections).

  • Conduct entry-level electrical testing, including using voltmeters,: ohmmeters, ammeters, insulation meggers, and assisting with insulation resistance, relay, transformer, and circuit breaker tests.

  • Read and interpret basic electrical drawings, one-line diagrams, schematics,: wiring diagrams, and work orders with guidance.

  • Troubleshoot simple electrical, mechanical, and control system issues under supervision.

  • Follow lockout/tagout (LOTO), grounding, clearance procedures, and safety: protocols (e.g., PPE, emergency rescue techniques like steel/aerial lift rescue).

What they're looking for
