What you'll do
Collaborate with engineers, managers, and customers to maintain systems in: peak operating condition, and to develop/update detailed work instructions for proper equipment preventative maintenance dedicated to ensuring zero unplanned interruption in services to employees and customers
Install, maintain and repair electrical support equipment on facilities: systems including medium to low voltage transformers, panels, substations, switch gear, Uninterrupted Power Supplies, Sag correctors, automatic transfer switches, generators, and fly wheels
Perform electrical modifications, install electrical wiring and components to design and code specifications
Perform failure assessments and day-to-day safety inspections: making recommendations to the supervisor as required
Perform hands-on shop work and/or on-site disassembly, inspection, reporting,: cleaning, troubleshooting, reassembly, and testing of electrical equipment
Present information on equipment maintenance statuses for all critical: facilities as required for internal and external customers
What they're looking for
- Open, track and resolve electronic work tickets on SpaceX systems
- Follow and ensure site compliance with all applicable SpaceX, local, state,: and federal building codes, regulations, and laws
- Troubleshoot new and existing electrical systems, including new and existing machinery
- Perform work from instructions using blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics
