What you'll do

  • Installing or repairing any of a variety of electrical equipment such as: exterior lighting / circuits, generators, transformers, switchboards, controllers, circuit breakers, motors, heating units, conduit systems, or other transmission equipment; working from blueprints, drawings, layouts, or other specifications.

  • Locating and diagnosing trouble in the electrical system or equipment;: working standard computations relating to load requirements of wiring or electrical equipment.

  • Using a variety of electrician's hand tools and measuring and testing instruments.

  • Will be responsible for working with vendors to procure quotes for: replacement parts and equipment, will also be responsible for the proper documentation of work performed and materials used.

  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.

  • In general, the work of the maintenance electrician requires rounded training: and experience usually acquired through a formal apprenticeship or equivalent training and experience.

What they're looking for

  • Must have a minimum of six (6) years journey-level experience and have: completed a formal apprenticeship or equivalent formal vocational/technical training program on industrial electrical systems. Each complete year of accredited college education in a related field may be substituted for the equivalent number of years of required experience.
  • Must maintain required city/county/state license(s) and/or certification(s), where applicable.
  • Must be able to operate and work from various lifts and bucket trucks.
  • Must be able to successfully complete a National Agency Check with Inquiries (Tier 1) background check.
