What you'll do
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on vertical transport systems,: including high-rise traction elevators and rack-and-pinion lifts
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and control system issues: using diagnostic tools and schematics
Conduct scheduled inspections in compliance with ASME A17.1/CSA B44, state codes, and local AHJ regulations
Lead elevator modernization projects and major repairs in coordination with facilities engineering and vendors
Read and interpret technical drawings, control wiring diagrams, and OEM documentation
Utilize CMMS platforms to document maintenance activities, inspections, and system health metrics
What they're looking for
- Interface with internal engineering teams and external service providers to support uptime and system upgrades
- Train and mentor junior elevator personnel and provide safety briefings during high-risk work
- Support emergency and after-hours maintenance operations as required
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate
