What you'll do
Work closely with Product and Engineering teams to define and deliver the: next version of Authentication and Authorization at Adyen.
Ensure reliability, performance and scalability; authentication and: authorisation are part of Adyen's critical flows.
Lead hands-on by actively coding, participating in technical discussions,: code reviews, and system design to ensure best practices are followed.
Ensure high performance by mentoring and coaching engineers, setting a high-quality bar.
Foster an inspiring and inclusive team culture of ownership, autonomy,: collaboration, accountability and open communication/feedback.
Effectively manage stakeholders throughout the company.
What they're looking for
- You have 3+ years of experience leading engineering teams and delivering impactful, scalable solutions.
- You bring a strong foundation in software engineering, with deep system: design skills and hands-on experience in technologies such as Java, Postgres and Redis.
- Reliability and scalability are priorities for you, and you have experience: working with critical, high-load, distributed systems.
- You are hands-on and collaborative, engaging deeply together with your team’s: work while fostering a supportive and learning-driven environment.
- You set a high bar and ensure your team delivers high-quality, maintainable code and solutions that scale.
- You are a strong mentor and coach, helping your team grow while maintaining: high performance and accountability.
- You have a growth mindset, constantly learning and adopting new practices to stay ahead of industry trends.
