What you'll do

  • Lead the FSQA team at the Verden site, including QA/QC (Quality Assurance/: Quality Control) and sanitation operations.

  • Drive the further development and implementation of all food safety and quality assurance processes.

  • Manage daily FSQA operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while fostering continuous improvement.

  • Monitor , analyze, and report FSQA performance using KPIs, trend analysis, and site quality metrics.

  • Evaluate quality deviations, initiate root cause analyses, and implement: effective Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs).

  • Coordinate the escalation and resolution of food safety and quality incidents: as well as recalls in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.

What they're looking for

  • Collaborate closely with Production, Intralogistics, Supply Chain, and: Engineering teams to further develop processes in a data-driven and risk-oriented manner.
  • Degree in food technology, food chemistry, nutrition science, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in food safety and quality: assurance within the food or feed manufacturing industry, combined with leadership experience in a dynamic production environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant food safety standards and certifications: (e.g., HACCP, GFSI) as well as experience in preparing for and conducting external audits.
