What you'll do
Review purchase requests and issue purchase orders in a timely manner without error
Ensure purchase orders are acknowledged by suppliers
Review quotes to ensure those are complete and align with SpaceX terms
Resolve invoice issues and ensure that vendors are paid on time
Expedite parts/services as necessary
Act as customer service for SpaceX internal customers
What they're looking for
- Support buyers in cost savings initiatives
- Lead miscellaneous procurement projects
- Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to identify and: implement process improvement initiatives in order to reduce order processing time and cost
- LENGTH OF POSITION: 3 months (permanent hire conversion based on performance and business need)
