What you'll do
Develop and execute global sourcing strategies for data center infrastructure: categories: structured cabling, power systems (UPS, PDUs, generators, electrical distribution), cooling systems (CRAC, containment, airflow), cage/space fitout, fire suppression, and commissioning services
Build and maintain robust supplier portfolios across multiple geographies to: support Cloudflare's rapid data center expansion
Conduct market research and supplier landscape analysis to identify qualified: vendors, benchmark capabilities, and maintain competitive tension
Create category-specific sourcing plans that balance cost competitiveness,: technical quality, vendor capacity, and risk mitigation
Drive supplier diversity and geographic coverage to ensure business: continuity and avoid single points of failure
Perform technical capability reviews evaluating vendor certifications (BICSI,: PE licenses, manufacturer credentials), workforce qualifications, and past project delivery
What they're looking for
- Assess vendor capacity for power and cooling sizing, load calculations,: redundancy design (N+1, 2N), thermal modeling, and containment design
- Lead technical due diligence including reference site visits, project: portfolio reviews, and proof-of-concept evaluations
- Validate vendor experience with full-scale DC cage/space fitouts from design through commissioning
- Ensure vendors meet Cloudflare's technical, operational, safety, and compliance standards across all regions
