What you'll do
Set Global Strategy: Own Waymo’s short- and long-term EHS objectives, providing oversight and guidance for all aspects of Waymo’s environmental, health, and safety program.
Drive Digital Transformation: Act as the global business owner for EHS management software (e.g., Enablon, Cority, or similar), managing its implementation, configuration, and data integrity.
Lead and Mentor: Manage a team of six direct reports, navigating them through organizational change and growing future leaders through active mentorship and technical guidance.
Innovate Risk Management: Develop and lead innovative approaches and tools to overcome organizational barriers, introducing new methods to manage EHS risks globally to unlock business growth.
Govern Metrics & Policy: Own the development of global policies and performance metrics, utilizing EHS software to provide real-time data insights and reports for executive leadership.
Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in EHS, Occupational Health, Engineering, or a related field; 12+ years of progressive EHS management experience, with 5+ years in a leadership role.
