• Maintain shipping lane cost data on an ongoing basis, for budgeting use across the business.
• Optimize logistics network by identifying opportunities that maximize cost: savings through load planning, carrier performance, backhaul, and trailer utilization. Develop and share best practices across the shifts and network to optimize processes.
• Collaborate on special projects as required, including process optimization: and cost savings initiatives. Work cross-functionally with our distribution center leaders and procurement leaders to drive effective transportation strategy.
