The opportunity
As a Machine Operator you will work within our Production and Maintenance Team to operate equipment, perform the automation and preventative maintenance programs at our facilities, and work to ensure operation downtime is kept to a minimum along with routine production activities.
What you'll do
Ensure all required efficiencies are achieved and maintained.
Assist and give guidance to a team of helpers to ensure production runs are: being completed on time, in full, while ensuring quality standards are being met.
Work with our Food Safety and Sanitation teams to ensure all automated: equipment is meeting regulatory standards.
Operate machines to grind, extract, mix, blend, dry, freeze, cook or: otherwise process food or beverage products
Perform pre and post inspection of packaging equipment using the appropriate: job plans, procedures, and manuals, in addition to machine calibration.
Accurately set up equipment and ensure proper and safe operation.
What they're looking for
- Complete required documentation and run production reports.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment failures to ensure Production downtime is kept to a minimum.
- Continuously monitor and adjust the process based on upstream and downstream production needs.
- Maintain and store department inventory, including consumables and keep accurate documentation.
