What you'll do
Own hands-on warehouse and production tasks including visual management: (labeling, signage), lineside inventory organization, stock relocation, and replenishment system execution (Kanban, Supermarkets)
Maintain organized, efficient material flow to support uninterrupted production schedules
Create and maintain process flow charts to document material handling procedures
Identify simple variants from standard processes and escalate to Material Flow Engineers
Assist in implementing 5S, visual management, and other Lean Manufacturing principles on the production floor
Provide tactical execution support for Material Flow Engineering projects
What they're looking for
- Background in fast-paced, high-growth manufacturing environments (aerospace, automotive, defense, or robotics)
- Hands-on experience with time-and-motion studies, line balancing, or value stream mapping
- Interest in designing physical workspaces, lineside storage solutions, or material flow routes
- Strong spreadsheet capabilities including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and basic data analysis
- Understanding of how materials, production, and quality functions interact within manufacturing operations
- Proven track record of executing high-quality tactical work with minimal supervision while meeting deadlines
