The opportunity
Redwood Materials was founded in 2017 by JB Straubel, co-founder and former CTO of Tesla, on a simple but radical idea: the critical minerals powering the energy transition already exist. They just need to come back.
What you'll do
Lead, coach, and develop a team of associates to ensure shipping and receiving requirements are achieved.
Responsible for safety compliance and training, especially as it pertains to material handling equipment.
Manage the internal flow of material to support production requirements.
Receive inbound shipments from suppliers of raw materials, maintenance parts, and engineering equipment.
Ensure inventory accuracy, material availability, and material replenishment.
Facilitate monthly physical inventory audits and work with the inventory: control team to ensure that cycle counts are completed.
What they're looking for
- Develop and implement material flow strategies to improve operational efficiency.
- Manage data and transactions within a Warehouse Management System and create: reports to support management decision making.
- Bachelors degree preferred
- Previous experience in warehousing and material flow required.
