What you'll do
Own the Mechanical Design of new Support System Equipment right from hardware: evaluation for down-selection and prototyping of GSE to customer facing demonstration of complete evolved Support Systems
Provide input into and develop, review, and execute right-sized test plans: for Support System Equipment test activities, efficiently capturing and reporting learnings
Design and use full-scale representative Vehicle System elements and mock-ups: to evaluate and evolve Support System Equipment and Vehicle System configuration
Draft Standard Operating Procedures for Support System evolutions across a: diverse range of Operational environments (austere to established)
Provide robust feedback to Vehicle, Mission and Support System Design: Engineering teams as to usability considerations in the field
Use disciplined Engineering Design practices to mitigate hazards associated: with Support System Equipment and develop/implement solid procedural controls for any remaining hazards
What they're looking for
- Identify land and maritime test environments, including facilities and equipment
- Implement and maintain processes for configuration control of development assets
- Bachelor degree or higher in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or aviation related technical discipline
- + years of experience in Aviation, Aerospace or product development/design: environments including test and evaluation
