What you'll do
Perform routine inspection, repair, refurbishment, overhaul and upgrade of: AUV mechanical systems and equipment
Diagnose mechanical issues, conducting component and subsystem-level tests,: collaborating with engineers and other trades to resolve complex issues
Operate the Maintenance Management System (MMS), ensuring accurate records of: maintenance activities, parts and consumables consumption
Conduct underway Sea testing of AUVs leaving factory or maintenance environments
Support development, review and trial of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs): and documentation for AUV maintenance activities operations
Assist with the preparation of risk assessments for maintenance and test: operations, identifying and implementing mitigations
What they're looking for
- Provide constructive feedback to design and manufacturing teams for ongoing evolution
- Be able to be deployed to the field to perform emergency repairs when: necessary, potentially in challenging conditions or adverse weather
- Support customer representatives in gaining skills and experience to support fielded AUVs
