What you'll do
Working as a team member with the entire facilities organization, as well as: all other organizations within Redwood Materials.
Operating various MV (up to 34.5kV) substation apparatus and distribution equipment.
Maintaining and troubleshooting various types of electrical systems, equipment, and components.
Reading and understanding electrical schematics and blueprints in order to: maintain, operate, and repair electrical systems of varying power levels.
Consulting manuals, reading and interpreting diagrams, P&IDs, blueprints, and schematics.
Performing a wide variety of job scopes.
What they're looking for
- Displaying a positive attitude and practicing good work ethic that reflects: the mission, philosophy, and goals of the company.
- Completing tasks in a timely manner and providing feedback to internal teams.
- Must have a minimum of 5+ years of Electrician journeyman level or higher: experience in industrial or commercial settings
- Completion of Substation Maintenance I training (as per AVO Training Institute or equivalent)
