Redwood Materials was founded in 2017 by JB Straubel, co-founder and former CTO of Tesla, on a simple but radical idea: the critical minerals powering the energy transition already exist. They just need to come back.

What you'll do

• Working as a team member with the entire facilities organization, as well as: all other organizations within Redwood Materials.

• Operating various MV (up to 34.5kV) substation apparatus and distribution equipment.

• Maintaining and troubleshooting various types of electrical systems, equipment, and components.

• Reading and understanding electrical schematics and blueprints in order to: maintain, operate, and repair electrical systems of varying power levels.

• Consulting manuals, reading and interpreting diagrams, P&IDs, blueprints, and schematics.

• Performing a wide variety of job scopes.

What they're looking for

• Displaying a positive attitude and practicing good work ethic that reflects: the mission, philosophy, and goals of the company.
• Completing tasks in a timely manner and providing feedback to internal teams.
• Must have a minimum of 5+ years of Electrician journeyman level or higher: experience in industrial or commercial settings
• Completion of Substation Maintenance I training (as per AVO Training Institute or equivalent)
