What you'll do

  • BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related field.

  • Ability to diagnose & root cause arbitrary & complex networking or routing failures in multi hop networks

  • Ability to read packet captures and use standard network debugging tools (tcpdump, Wireshark, etc.)

  • Experience with end to end testing of both unicast and multicast data flows

  • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals: TCP/UDP, socket programming, MTU, multicast, TLS/mTLS

  • Experience utilizing timing protocols such as NTP and PTP

What they're looking for

  • CCNA or equivalent exp.
  • A high comfort working in a Linux environment
  • Experience with systemd
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes and container orchestration
