The opportunity
The Design Team leads Anduril’s brand identity, visual communication, concept art, and industrial design. Our team’s purpose is to connect the mission, people, and products to elevate the Anduril brand.
What you'll do
Define, develop, and scale a holistic CMF strategy across Anduril’s Warfighter Systems hardware portfolio.
Identify and evaluate advanced materials, innovative coatings, and: sustainable manufacturing processes that support product performance, durability, and design intent.
Lead on-site color-matching sessions and evaluate physical parts under standardized lighting conditions.
Factory execution and quality standards: Serve as the subject-matter expert for visual and cosmetic quality at supplier and manufacturing sites.
Establish, document, and implement Cosmetic Quality Specification(CQS) with global manufacturing partners.
CMF documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive CMF specifications, approved boundary and limit samples, and step-and-gap requirements to ensure assembly precision and surface consistency.
What they're looking for
- Develop robust tracking systems and documentation workflows to manage, audit,: and maintain CMF specifications throughout the product lifecycle.
- Lead design and research operations, including roadmaps, backlogs, intake processes, and review cadences.
- Partner with design and research leadership on prioritization, goal tracking,: resource planning, and risk management.
- Facilitate collaboration among design, business, engineering, and: manufacturing stakeholders; provide clear status updates and escalate issues when appropriate.
