What you'll do

  • Acting as the key point of contact within Legal for the supported business: lines, taking charge of Binance’s legal needs and obligations for the various products and services offered and coordinating with other Legal teams (such as Commercial, Corporate, Regulatory, Data Privacy, Litigation, etc) and cross functional teams (such as Compliance, Risk, Marketing, Business Development, Customer Support, Tax, etc).

  • Facilitating product development through the full product life-cycle (i.e.: design, launch, ongoing advisory, etc.), identifying and mitigating Legal risks.

  • Advising on product compliance with relevant regulations across multiple: jurisdictions, including managing and working hand-in-hand with Binance’s regional Legal and Compliance teams and, where necessary, external counsel, on matters such as licensing and approval applications, product restrictions, compliance requirements (i.e., AML/CFT) and other related topics.

  • Drafting, amending, and/or negotiating existing or new product centric terms: and commercial contracts and preparing templates with a view to mitigating risk.

  • Advising on product related marketing, announcements and social media campaigns.

  • Advising on regulatory compliance and implementation, including in the: context of financial instruments regulation (such as MIFID, MAR and EMIR) and digital assets regulation (such as MiCA and DORA, for example).

  • Advising on client complaints and disputes alongside litigation colleagues.
  • Managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders and: coordinating with colleagues across jurisdictions and time zones.
  • Working with and advising cross functional teams (e.g. Marketing, Business: Development, Customer Support) to drive user acquisition and retention.
  • Keeping up-to-date with industry/market trends and research on product centric regulatory issues.
