What you'll do
Maintain a Safety-First culture in our food-based Fulfillment Center (FC).: Responsible for meeting site environmental, health, quality & safety performance metrics. Maintains or exceeds the requirements and standards of OSHA, AlB, GMP, HACCP, FSSC, and FDA.
Oversee the day-to-day operations in the FC, driving performance to: continuously meet both long- and short-term company goals. Prepare operating reports, establish KPIs, and provide value-driven feedback to direct reports.
Lead and motivate large cross-functional teams, including receiving,: production, inventory control, and shipping. Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture to meet or exceed operational goals.
Champion continuous improvement efforts throughout the organization: identifying areas of opportunity and implementing new processes to meet business needs. Implements best practices and ensures adherence to standard operating procedures.
Foster effective communication and collaboration among different departments: within the warehouse. Coordinate with logistics, inventory, and distribution teams to ensure a cohesive and integrated supply chain. Together, develop and implement strategic plans to achieve on-time delivery, maintain high product quality, and optimize turnover within the warehouse.
Develops a highly effective site leadership team, by applying high standards: for selection and continued performance; establishes clear and stretching goals, communicates and delegates key responsibilities, and actively utilizes all performance, development, and career tools, to their full potential.
What they're looking for
- Analyze production data to prepare and issue performance reports, identifying: areas of improvement. Proficient in root cause analysis, with the ability to develop and implement corrective action plans to prevent recurrence of issues.
- Build strong professional relationships with their direct reports and site HR: Business Partners. Identifies and effectively communicates urgent issues, both internal and external, to site HR as needed and maintains accurate administrative records.
- Previous leadership experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements for operating plants
