What you'll do
Master Scheduling: Create and maintain the production master schedule to ensure continuous, 24/7 plant operations.
Project Alignment: Monitor customer orders and collaborate with Project Managers to align delivery expectations with real-time production capacity.
Constraint Management: Identify critical paths and proactively resolve resource conflicts, material shortages, and manufacturing bottlenecks.
Reporting & Analytics: Generate scheduling and materials reports to identify potential shipment issues, labor requirements, and inventory gaps.
System Integrity: Maintain accurate and up-to-date project data within the MRP system (Infor Visual Manufacturing) .
Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead daily, weekly, and monthly production review meetings with leadership, highlighting project status, delays, and workforce needs.
What they're looking for
- Operational Cooperation: Drive collaboration between Procurement, Materials Management, and Production to ensure lead times and warehouse levels are accurate.
- Continuous Improvement: Monitor and manage the 90-day production outlook, identifying opportunities to refine the scheduling process and improve order fulfillment.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: 3–5 years of experience in production planning, preferably within: metal or electrical manufacturing environments.
