What you'll do
Lead a team of manufacturing specialists, technicians, and equipment: maintenance personnel accountable for process development, product qualification, reliability, and high-volume ramp of silicon packages and flight/consumer hardware
Own safety performance, ensuring all team members follow safety policies and: receive required environmental, health, and safety training
Develop and mentor team members through training, performance management,: career progression, hiring, and discipline
Drive continuous improvement using Lean principles, Kaizen, 5S, Value Stream: Mapping, and other tools to eliminate waste, reduce cycle time, lower costs, and improve throughput and quality
Develop and execute daily production plans, prioritize work based on customer: commitments, manpower, equipment capacity, and material availability
Analyze production data, resolve operational issues, and lead root cause analysis (5Why, 8D, A3)
What they're looking for
- Take corrective actions to maintain quality and meet customer requirements
- Partner with engineering and process leaders on design for manufacturability,: process standardization, and variation reduction
- Act as the primary technical decision-maker for the team on production, efficiency, and personnel matters
- Associate’s degree and 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing/test: environment OR 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing/test environment in lieu of a degree
