What you'll do
Help shape and execute a global external affairs strategy that strengthens: Discord's relationships and reputation with policymakers, regulators, civil society, academics, and industry partners
Build and manage a portfolio of strategic partnerships, making sure each one: advances clear policy and business objectives
Measure the impact of partnerships and engagements, and report outcomes to team and company leadership
Own Discord's headquarters visit program for policymakers, government officials, and other key stakeholders
Lead special projects for the Public Policy team, such as external events,: policy research initiatives, and cross-regional campaigns
Develop external-facing materials such as briefing books, talking points,: presentations, partnership proposals, and event programming
What they're looking for
- Own the Public Policy team's budgets and related operational projects
- + years of experience in public policy, public affairs, and/or civil society partnerships
- Experience owning and executing a multi-year public affairs or partnership program
- Experience building and managing partnerships with civil society, academic: experts, and industry leaders across multiple regions
