What you'll do

  • Perform detailed inspection of PCBAs, RF subassemblies, and cable assemblies: to IPC-A-610 and IPC/WHMA-A-620 Class 3 standards for workmanship, solder quality, and conformance to engineering drawings.

  • Conduct incoming, inline and EOL inspection of purchased PCBs, RF components,: and materials to verify conformance to drawings, specifications, and purchase order requirements before release to production.

  • Perform measurements using calibrated equipment (calipers, micrometers,: height gauges, microscopes) and support equipment calibration and material shelf-life programs.

  • Verify assemblies match the latest engineering revisions and BOMs, and: document inspection results in the ERP/MES system.

  • Identify and document non-conformances, support Material Review Board (MRB): disposition, and participate in root-cause and corrective action (8D, RCCA, or equivalent).

  • Contribute to the development and refinement of inspection plans, work: instructions, and acceptance criteria alongside Quality and Manufacturing Engineering.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing, engineering, and supplier: quality to resolve quality issues and drive process improvements.
  • + years of quality inspection experience in an electronics manufacturing: environment, with a minimum of 2 years inspecting PCBAs or electronic assemblies.
  • Hands-on experience inspecting electronic and RF assemblies (PCBs, wire: harnesses, power supplies, or microwave/RF components) and using RF testing Equipment (VNAs, Oscilloscopes, SA, Multimeter, etc.)
