What you'll do
Perform in-process inspections of sewing, stitching, cut parts, and marks: using calibrated tools, work orders, and drawings to verify conformance
Perform secondary verification of critical work-order operations
Perform final inspection of completed soft goods as required; approve or: reject hardware and document non-conformances
Perform inspection photography of hardware and non-conformances as required
Author issue tickets; label nonconforming hardware; track location; assign: owners; and follow progress to close
Support the Material Review Board (MRB) process by documenting and managing non-conformances
What they're looking for
- Manage calibrated tools: maintain tracking and due dates, remove out-of-tolerance (OOT) equipment from use, disposition OOT with engineering, and ship tools for calibration on time
- Communicate quality issues with production and engineering and assist with disposition and corrective action
- Support quality management system (QMS) policies and lean / continuous-improvement activities
- Inspect parts in accordance with the current drawing revision
