What you'll do
Define, communicate, and drive the technical vision and strategy for the team: that supports the product strategy and key bets for the company, including new technical investments.
Drive high-quality execution of key business outcomes of the team by: overseeing the roadmap and enabling technical and product decisions.
Create best practices for production services, ensuring an exemplary: enterprise-grade experience for retailers.
Lead, coach, and develop a team of 10+ engineers building the best in-class: picking experience for retailers and shoppers.
Lead the recruitment and hiring processes to build a high-performing team.
Proven track record as a hands-on technical leader, preferably at a Staff+ level in a similar industry.
What they're looking for
- Experience leading multiple teams or managing managers, including scaling a: team from early stages to 10+ engineers.
- Prior experience in managing engineering teams that oversee mission critical business systems.
- Experience building enterprise-grade software systems.
- Technical depth with Ruby on Rails, Go, Swift and/or Kotlin
