What you'll do

• Design and create factory layouts and discreet designs incorporating next: generation movement, holding and processing systems for supporting factory development and the future production system, using digital thread, computer aided design, simulation, and computer graphics to enable lean manufacturing principles, integrated metrology and visual management, including technologies, tools and processes to improve production flow while enhancing product performance, space allocation and resource requirements across programs and products.

• Question requirements in production system design, and facility creation to: ensure the most cost- and schedule-effective solutions for our factories that meets the needs of our products.

• Support design, development, construction, commissioning and start-up of the: production systems at new factory sites, ensuring successful delivery of the factory and products off the line.

• Provide support on product manufacturing processes, material flow and new: technologies. Buy down risk to meet production performance and timelines in new facilities.

• Lead hands-on: set an example and expedite project completion

• Drive collaboration with manufacturing technology, product design,: manufacturing engineering, operations, facilities and construction, environmental safety & health, and finance to deliver creative and effective production system designs, as well as external vendors supporting the design, construction, and commissioning of new facilities
