What you'll do
Lead the functional and technical design of complex Workday Financials: enhancements across multiple business domains.
Translate accounting and finance requirements into scalable, maintainable system solutions.
Evaluate solution options, identify trade-offs, and recommend implementation: approaches aligned with platform standards.
Independently lead technical discovery sessions for medium to large initiatives.
Own end-to-end technical delivery for assigned initiatives, from discovery: and solution design through testing, deployment, and production support.
Provide technical guidance and support to other Finance Systems Engineers: during complex solution design and discovery sessions, sharing best practices and helping ensure scalable, high-quality solutions.
What they're looking for
- Experience working within Agile delivery teams using Scrum methodologies.
- Experience mentoring or providing technical guidance to engineers during: complex solution design and implementation.
- Experience supporting global Finance organizations.
- Exposure to AI-enabled productivity tools (e.g., Google Gemini , GenAI: assistants) within enterprise environments.
