The opportunity

This role is part of HelloFresh’s New Ventures Tribe, where we build and scale new business models. You’ll work directly on The Pets Table, a fast-growing US-based pet-food brand that delivers personalized feeding plans to dog owners.

What you'll do

  • Design, build, and optimize customer-facing applications using React, Next.js, and TypeScript.

  • Participate in frontend architecture discussions, technical decision-making, and platform scalability.

  • Support improvements in production monitoring, alerting, and observability.

  • Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and cross-functional partners to: prototype, iterate, and deliver seamless user experiences.

  • Utilize modern AI tools and workflows to enhance engineering efficiency, code quality, and standards.

  • Initiative Ownership: Ability to lead complex projects end-to-end—translating vision into structured implementation plans and guiding teams through execution to successful delivery.

What they're looking for

  • Frontend Mastery: Deep expertise in React and TypeScript (ideally Next.js), with a strong track record of delivering production-grade frontend applications, architectural design, and performance optimizations.
  • Collaboration & Ownership: Proactive, autonomous mindset with strong communication skills to explain complex technical decisions, share knowledge, and drive results across domains.
  • GenAI Expertise: Hands-on experience leveraging modern AI tools and workflows (e.g., Claude, Cursor) to increase development speed and elevate technical standards.
  • Observability & Monitoring: Practical familiarity with setting up and maintaining monitoring and observability frameworks in production environments.
