What you'll do

• Manages and grows a multifunctional department of service, applications,: field quality, and reliability engineers, including hiring and developing functional leads

• Accountable for the quality and reliability performance of the deployed BESS fleet

• Establishes fleet-level statistical reporting on product quality and: reliability, including failure rates, availability, and warranty trends, for engineering and executive leadership

• Directs technical investigations of field failures across electrical,: thermal, controls, software, and power conversion systems through root cause and corrective action closure

• Establishes escalation tiers, service-level agreements, and handoff criteria: between operations and maintenance, service engineering, and product engineering, along with frameworks for fleet monitoring, service tooling, and service documentation

• Manages applications engineering support for customer system sizing,: integration, and site-specific configuration

What they're looking for

• Manages the feedback loop from field data to product engineering, defining: reliability and serviceability requirements for current and next-generation systems
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering or a: related field; Master's degree preferred
• + years of experience with complex electromechanical, power electronics, or: grid-scale energy systems, including 3+ years of people management
• Experience working safely on high-voltage AC and DC systems, including applicable electrical safety practices
