What you'll do

• Lead the development and implementation of new manufacturing processes and: equipment for battery packs, cell assemblies, and high-voltage power systems

• Design and optimize production processes for efficiency, scalability,: quality, and safety, including cell handling, module assembly, welding/bonding, and pack integration

• Provide DFM/A feedback to electrical and mechanical design teams, driving: manufacturability into cell selection, pack architecture, thermal management, and pressure vessel integration

• Create and review process maps and work instructions for battery assembly and test

• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste,: improve quality, and increase productivity

• Utilize Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other methodologies to enhance manufacturing operations

What they're looking for

• Battery pack or cell design experience, including cell selection, module/pack: architecture, BMS integration, thermal management, or safety qualification
• Experience with high-voltage systems and safe work practices for electrical systems up to 400VDC
• Familiarity with cell-joining processes (laser/ultrasonic/resistance welding,: wire bonding) and battery test/formation equipment
• Experience in maritime robotics (AUVs, UUVs, USVs, subsea sensors)
• Subsea cable splicing or fabrication experience
• Experience with pressure vessels and/or industrial pressure test equipment
• Prior experience working with JIRA, Siemens NX, Teamcenter (PLM), or Oracle (ERP) or equivalents
• Experience with large scale, high-mix manufacturing at different stages of product maturity
