The opportunity
Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U. S.
What you'll do
Own a portion or all of the manufacturing value chain for a product or set of products.
Develop novel tooling solutions for the fabrication and assembly of structural parts.
Develop process flows that break large, complex assemblies into a logical: part flow of subassemblies and sub-processes.
Own build documentation at scale (work instructions, quality plans, and: inspection requirements), and drive DFM and DFX upstream into design.
Partner with contract manufacturers across PCBA fabrication, metallic: manufacturing, and assembly for repeatable quick-turn and at-scale processes.
Build prototype hardware hands-on, and contribute to end-customer mechanical: and electrical design, including interconnects, board fabrication, and inspection.
What they're looking for
- Lead root-cause, mentor junior staff, and travel to suppliers to solve production issues.
- Operate with incomplete or still-evolving design inputs: ask the right questions, work from first principles, and create structure where none yet exists.
- + years in manufacturing engineering, preferably in aerospace.
- BS in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent hands-on manufacturing experience.
