What you'll do
Maintain ownership of test activities in production and ensuring production: test flow. Provide hands-on troubleshooting efforts and resolve complex electrical issues found during testing
Own the full test lifecycle for assigned products, from early test planning: through tester development, deployment, validation, and long-term sustainment on the line
Define what needs to be tested by deriving test requirements from system: design, and collaborating with design engineers to refine test requirements
Develop new test stations from the ground up including hands-on ownership of: at least one core build discipline: test software, test electrical/instrumentation, or mechanical/fixture design, and integrate them into the production line
Author test plans, build/test sequences, and acceptance criteria for new and: early-stage products, then carry them through to a released, sustainable production process
Maintain test capabilities across the manufacturing value stream: from system level checkouts and acceptance testing to key component level in process validation
What they're looking for
- Pursuing a Master’s of Science in Electrical Engineering, Electronics: Engineering Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science or related field
- Familiarity with Python, LabVIEW, and/or MATLAB for data parsing and data visualization
- Experience with test automation, PCBA design, and mechanical design
- Experience with computer hardware communication protocols: USB, Ethernet, RS232, RS485, PCIe, HDMI, CAN, etc.
- Experience with ESS-related testing (Thermal, Vibration, etc.)
- Active Security Clearance
