What you'll do
Own the mechanical definition of one or more production products, from the: as-shipped configuration through every change that comes after.
Investigate and resolve quality problems using root cause analysis (RCA) and: permanent corrective action (PCA), and make sure the fixes stick.
Design new components and revise existing ones as the products evolve.
Feed design for manufacture and assembly (DFMA) lessons back into the design: to make our production lines faster and more reliable.
Own the engineering documentation and manage the bill of materials for the final shipped product.
Serve as the mechanical authority for configuration and change management across every variant.

- Support qualification campaigns that prove the products hold up in real conditions.
- Work day to day with designers, manufacturing engineers, and production partners.
- Travel to exercises to support the products in the field and bring back feedback from the people using them.
