Senior Production Material Planner, Energy StoragePosted today$42K–$104K
The opportunity
Redwood Materials was founded in 2017 by JB Straubel, co-founder and former CTO of Tesla, on a simple but radical idea: the critical minerals powering the energy transition already exist. They just need to come back.
What you'll do
Lead material planning for assigned electronics and mechanical commodities,: translating production schedules and demand into MRP-driven supply requirements
Maintain planning parameters and master data (lead times, lot sizes, safety: stock, bills of material) to reflect supplier capability and meet inventory, service level, and cost targets
Perform daily supply and constraint management, including clear-to-build and: run-out analysis, and resolve shortages and exceptions ahead of the build schedule
Serve as the primary interface with assigned suppliers on delivery status,: schedule changes, and issue resolution, escalating to Global Supply Chain Management, Quality, or Engineering when required
Manage engineering changes and product transitions to minimize excess and: obsolete inventory and maintain continuity of supply
Support new product introduction builds by confirming material readiness from: prototype through production ramp
What they're looking for

- + years of material planning, production planning, or supply chain experience: (3+ years with a Master's degree), ideally in high-volume electronics, automotive, or battery manufacturing
- Working knowledge of MRP/ERP systems, bills of material, and discrete manufacturing planning processes
