The opportunity
Anduril’s Manufacturing Automation team is seeking a Senior Robotics Engineer to join our team. The Manufacturing Automation team is responsible for the design, integration, and deployment of automated manufacturing systems across Anduril factories.
What you'll do
Select, design, and integrate industrial robots / cobots for manufacturing: automation, from initial concept through full production deployment
Develop, optimize, and debug robot programs, including motion planning, path: planning, safety configurations, and vision-based guidance
Specify, select, and integrate EOAT, including grippers, sensors, and custom tooling
Design and manage robot cell layouts, including safety enclosures, work: envelopes, and necessary infrastructure
Implement and verify safety functions (STO, SLS, etc.) in accordance with relevant safety standards
Develop and execute simulation models to validate robot reach, cycle time,: and potential collisions before physical implementation
What they're looking for
- + years of hands-on experience in robotics and automation within a manufacturing production environment
- Experience designing and deploying robotic dispense systems
- Experience integrating and configuring vision systems for guidance, inspection, and quality control
- Knowledge of PLC programming (Rockwell and Siemens)
- Familiarity with CAD packages including Solidworks, NX, CATIA, or AutoCAD
- TUV FS Engineer certification (Functional Safety of Machinery)
