What you'll do
Lead the design and delivery of the services our team owns across new and: existing microservices in Java, Spring, RabbitMQ and Postgres, from architecture through to production operation
Evolve the new premium query engine by owning and delivering entire feature: sets addressing new and extended use cases, tightened security robustness, and closing gaps
Drive query engine migration milestones end to end and ensure: operationability across their shared libraries as dependency workflows grow more frequent and complex
Establish and extend AI agent tooling to carry repetitive operational and: development processes across our team
Sustain the operational and security robustness of our Tier 0 and Tier 1: services throughout feature development and the migration, and take part and improve how the on-call rotation works
University degree in Computer Science or comparable education
What they're looking for
- + years of professional experience building Java applications that are: scalable, reliable and testable, including owning it in production
- Fluency in Java and Python is required
- Strong experience with data-intensive, performance-critical distributed systems
- Experience rolling out changes across a large fleet of distributed systems,: and the instinct for incremental, reversible, measurable steps that comes with it
