What you'll do
Deliver high-quality, real-time vehicle pose estimation software that power: the next generation of mobile robots.
Research, develop, and deploy state of the art, safe and reliable: (fail-operational) vehicle pose estimation algorithms.
Analyze and characterize the accuracy and performance of pose estimation algorithms on a variety of platforms.
Build well-tested C/C++ software and deploy and test on our robotic platforms and in simulation.
Collaborate with stakeholders across autonomy, hardware, and systems teams on: sensor selection and architectures for next generation vehicles.
You have a PhD and/or Masters Degree in computer science, electrical engineering, robotics, or related field.
What they're looking for
- You have a deep understanding of state estimation, probabilistic filtering, 3D geometry.
- You have experience developing pose estimation algorithms with sensors such: as IMU, motor resolvers or encoders, GPS, etc., and sensor fusion.
- You have 3+ years of industry experience as a software engineer.
- Strong C/C++ programming skills, developing well-tested, safety critical software.
