The opportunity

The CDN Configuration team oversees the end-to-end configuration ecosystem across our edge platform. Our core mission is delivering a coherent, safe, highly performant, and resilient experience that empowers customers to modify their traffic routing with absolute confidence.

What you'll do

  • Solid competencies in practical computer science, applying the right: algorithms, data structures, concurrency control systems to software design, and building large, distributed systems

  • Experience operating production systems safely: deployment, rollout, rollback, and observability

  • Driving communication and consensus across teams

  • A drive for continuous improvement when it comes to both operations and new product development

  • Experience of languages: Rust, Go

  • Knowledge of web servers and web protocols

What they're looking for

  • Distributed systems, and distributed configuration or state-distribution systems
  • Experience with safe deployment: progressive rollout, versioning/snapshots, CI/CD
  • Web security issues and industry standards
